Throwback Thursday: 2009

Another Throwback Thursday, here's one from 2009 when I first started my photography program. I remember taking this picture as though it was last week. I have three different girls come in and I put jewels on their faces. I used pearls on one girl, black rhinestones on another and clear rhinestones on the girl below, each jewelled design was different. I loved it then and I still love it now, even if I see little thing or two I would change, but hey, 4 years in photography makes a huge difference! ;)

2013 - New Year & Surprises

I can't believe the end of January is already here! I feel like it was yesterday we were standing out in the cold counting down to new year. I know that 2013 holds a lot of new surprises for me. Everyone loves surprises! This year, why not surprise your friends with a photoshoot! Know a woman who loves to feel glamorous? Present her with one of our Glamour Portrait sessions! Know a lovely mother to be? Give her the gift of a maternity shoot. Often times, mothers-to-be are preparing for the arrival of the baby that they just don't take the time to schedule a shoot. Help them out by buying them a gift voucher, they'll thank you later!

October Sessions

I've been shooting a lot recently and have been loving every minute of it! Working with different clients is always so awesome because everyone is so different from each other. I especially love all the children that parents bring to me, I when kids smile and laugh, it always makes me so happy! :)

Summer Days

I recently did a shoot with a family who I've previously worked with, they're amazing and their children are absolutely adorable! We went to a little park near their home, which was great because the kids were comfortable with their surroundings, which made them completely at ease. The whole family is always so fun to work with. :)  As we packed up it started to lightly rain and then as we drove away it began to pour! All I have to say is thank you Lord for the beautiful weather we had!  Here's two shots of the two cuddly kids :)

Boudoir

For the past couple of months I've been working on my boudoir portfolio. I had so many shoots that some weeks I had about 4 or 5 girls scheduled in, along with all the other work I was doing! But I have to say I absolutely enjoyed it and I loved working with real girls all different yet all beautiful in their own way. Here's a little look at two of my shoots, enjoy. :)

Miss Universe Canada: Kimealia Hercules

Gorgeous Children

I've always loved working with children and these photo shoots were no different! I had a lot of fun working with all of these different kids over the past few months. Getting to know each child and their personality is all part of the fun, it's also so great to see the relationship between the child and their mother or father. I truly enjoyed myself! :)

Redheads

I did a photo shoot a while back with a family full of redheads and I have to say they are absolutely beautiful! :) Check back soon to see more pictures that I've taken, new post should be coming up real soon! :)

Portfolio Judging

Setting up for my portfolio judging yesterday afternoon! Took a whole semester to complete, but it finally came together wonderfully. Thanks to Emily (again) who helped me put it all up.

Getting Ready

This photoshoot went to well and I am extremely happy with the results. I definitely had a lot of fun working with Matt on this shoot. :)
